Domaine Antoine Lienhardt is based in Comblanchien, in the Côte de Nuits (Burgundy). It is a family estate farmed organically and biodynamically, now in the hands of the 4th generation.
The estate
The Guyot-Lienhardt family estate began with Gustave Guyot, who bought the land in the second half of the 19th century. Maurice Guyot, a pioneer of estate bottling in Comblanchien, ceased his activity in 1992. Antoine Lienhardt, 4th generation, took over the estate in 2011 after working in Chablis, Chambolle-Musigny and South Africa. His sister Héloïse has co-managed the estate since 2017 (administration, export, sales). The organic conversion began in 2015/2016, with ECOCERT certification (2019 vintage) and Biodyvin, biodynamic practices, hand harvesting, whole clusters, indigenous yeasts and no external inputs in winemaking.
The region
The estate is located in Burgundy, in the Côte de Nuits, in Comblanchien, between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune. The appellations worked are Bourgogne, Bourgogne Aligoté, Côte de Nuits-Villages, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin and Coteaux Bourguignons. The grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay.
