Vladimír Lojda
Vino Loigi is the small estate of Vladimír Lojda, based in Znojmo, South Moravia, and founded in 2014 after several years of experience. He farms 2.5 hectares of vines across two sites near Podyjí National Park, Pod Lesem in Popice and Skalky in Havraníky. The vineyards are farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles. Production remains tiny, at around 7,000 bottles per year, divided among numerous small cuvées. In the cellar, Lojda favors spontaneous fermentations, mainly in old oak barrels, but also works with demijohns and qvevri. The wines often spend extended periods on their lees, with minimal intervention. His approach stands out for its highly artisanal, experimental and varied character, particularly through skin contact and orange wines, while remaining deeply connected to the vineyards of Znojmo.
