Rémi Thébault

Rémi Thébault has been working in the Nantes wine region since 2022 and is now based in Le Landreau, in the heart of Muscadet. After studying agronomy, beginning his career in agricultural research and development, and spending several years working and training at wineries across France, he established his own estate. Today, he farms around 5.5 hectares organically, primarily planted with Melon de Bourgogne, alongside Folle Blanche and Cabernet Franc. His approach deliberately offers a different interpretation of Muscadet, focusing more on fruit, ripeness and texture rather than solely on the tension traditionally associated with the appellation. Fermentations are spontaneous, while ageing may involve barrels and extended lees contact.
