Alcide Perrin
La Terre des Tilles is the project of Alcide Perrin, based north of the Côte-d’Or, around Til-Châtel and Selongey. After studying international business and a first career in business law, he returned to Burgundy in 2020 to train in viticulture and oenology in Beaune. He completed this apprenticeship with Sylvain Pataille in Marsannay before launching his first vinifications in 2022.
The project started as a micro-négoce, buying grapes from growers who farm their plots carefully. Aligoté plays an important role in the first cuvées, with restrained vinifications, slow pressings and extended barrel élevage.
At the same time, Alcide Perrin is working above all to recreate a vineyard in an area where vines had almost disappeared. A first plot of around 0.25 ha of Chardonnay was planted in spring 2024 in Til-Châtel, with the ambition of gradually developing several hectares. The local soils are varied, with notably sandstone, sand, flint-clay and puddingstone formations.
In the vineyard as in the cellar, La Terre des Tilles follows an organic, low-intervention approach, with careful soil work, spontaneous fermentations and limited sulfur use. The project is still in a construction phase, somewhere between artisanal négoce and the gradual creation of a true wine estate.
