Duckman a.k.a. Joao Pato is the project of Maria Pato, based in Amoreira da Gândara, in the Bairrada region of Portugal. The agency’s list offers four of her cuvées, spanning still wines, pétillant and traditional-method sparkling.

THE REGION
Bairrada is a wine region in central Portugal, near the Atlantic Ocean. It is known in particular for its wines made from baga for reds, and from bical and maria gomes for whites.
